Heckel Bassoon

This is one of the earliest instruments attributable to Wilhelm Heckel GmbH, one of the most renowned companies in bassoon production, still active today since 1831.
Unlike later iterations, this instrument's interior is not yet lined with rubber, nor are the tone hole chimneys.
The digital reconstruction was conducted after removing the keys, allowing for a more complete view of the maple wood body's characteristics.
