High craftsmanship and technological innovation
meet at Liuteria Nova
We specialize in the 3D digitization of string and wind musical instruments through photogrammetry, thanks to our experience as luthiers in the restoration and construction of bowed and plucked instruments.
Ours is the first innovative start-up with the ambition of creating a new and unique all-encompassing lutherie studio, becoming a point of reference for diagnostics through photogrammetric survey. Our goal is to define the new standard for the acquisition of metric data of string and wind musical instruments.
We guarantee care and attention for the instrument within a hi-tech context, thanks to our training linked to the tradition and cultural heritage of musical instrument making.
Global expertise from our international advisors enhances the accuracy, fidelity, and cultural depth of every digital model we produce.

How we create digital twins
No need to transportation
We've designed a capture system and developed a technique that lets us safely and accurately scan instruments without moving them from their storage location.
Accuracy
We use photogrammetry to create our photorealistic and dimensionally accurate 3D models. This technique avoids interference from paint reflectivity and is more cost-effective than models obtained with tomography or other methods.
Customization
Our models are highly customizable and can be reproduced via CNC, providing essential support for luthiers in their handcrafted instrument production.
