Viola Giuseppe Ornati
1921 – Milano
The 1921 viola that you can admire in this 3D reproduction is one of the few violas produced by Giuseppe Ornati, who dedicated his production mainly to violins.
The instrument is in excellent condition and is built with the attention to detail typical of the author and with shapes that give it a slender appearance despite the structure being rather robust.
Lombard Mandolin Carlo Albertini
XIX c. – Milano
This Lombard mandolin is characterized by a simple but refined workmanship, with characteristic floral decorations on the ribs and the braga. The bowl is rather rounded and solid, but it has some open cracks and other very evident repairs.
Anonymous Violin
XIX c. – Mittenwald
Violin from the early 1800s, made in a style very similar to the school of the Klotz family. The instrument has a neat finish and is characterized by soft shapes. It has numerous repairs on the table and back, and in particular it is worth noting the crack on the back, near the sound post.
